The Talent Acquisition Manager is a strategic HR leader responsible for shaping proactive talent acquisition strategies that support business growth and workforce needs. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to anticipate hiring requirements and build scalable recruitment approaches across North America. You will drive improvements across the full-cycle recruiting funnel, leveraging technology, analytics, and innovative practices to improve efficiency and candidate experience. The position also works closely with employment marketing teams to strengthen employer positioning, attract high-quality talent, and optimize recruitment campaigns. Using recruiting data and talent insights, you will measure performance, identify opportunities, and guide decisions that improve hiring outcomes. You will also build strong relationships with external recruiting partners while ensuring compliant, equitable, and consistent hiring practices. This is a high-impact, cross-functional opportunity for an experienced talent leader who enjoys influencing stakeholders and modernizing recruitment at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert, partnering with HR and business leaders to proactively identify current and future talent needs and develop recruitment strategies that support organizational growth.
- Build and execute both immediate and long-term talent acquisition strategies that can scale across operations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico as appropriate, while aligning recruitment priorities with business objectives.
- Evaluate and continuously improve recruiting systems, processes, workflows, and emerging technologies to modernize and optimize the full-cycle recruitment funnel and deliver more efficient, measurable outcomes.
- Partner with HRIS and People Analytics teams to develop meaningful recruiting reports, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics that measure performance, identify trends, inform decision-making, and enable continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with employment marketing teams to leverage the Employee Value Proposition across social media, paid media, job boards, email marketing, grassroots initiatives, and other channels to attract and re-engage high-quality candidates.
- Analyze talent marketing performance and ROI to help prioritize recruitment spend, targeting, content, engagement strategies, and follow-through based on data and business needs.
- Champion diverse and equitable hiring practices by attracting and selecting candidates whose strengths, backgrounds, and experiences contribute to innovation, growth, and organizational success.
- Develop and maintain a strong external talent network through relationships with schools, alumni organizations, staffing firms, recruiting platforms, job boards, and other professional sources.
- Establish and manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, search firms, and talent vendors, monitoring service levels, costs, performance, and overall return on investment.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, internal policies, and selection processes while promoting consistent and effective hiring practices.
- Support additional talent acquisition initiatives, special projects, and organizational priorities as required, with the ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of progressive Human Resources experience encompassing talent acquisition, people leadership, and stakeholder influence.
- Direct people leadership experience is required, with the ability to build credibility, influence decisions, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing employment marketing strategies using job boards, social media, sourcing techniques, candidate engagement campaigns, and ROI measurement is required.
- Proven experience managing external recruiting agencies, executive search firms, staffing partners, and other talent acquisition vendors is required.
- Strong experience developing recruiting KPIs, reporting, analytics, and executive dashboards that provide actionable insights into recruiting performance, hiring outcomes, and workforce trends is required.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting technologies is required, including the ability to optimize systems, workflows, and tools to improve recruitment efficiency and measurable results.
- Experience leading talent acquisition initiatives across the United States is required, while familiarity with hiring practices, employment regulations, and talent markets in Canada and Mexico is strongly preferred.
- In-house, full-cycle recruiting experience and exposure to executive or senior leadership recruitment are preferred, as is experience supporting manufacturing, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or similarly operational environments.
- Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Oracle HCM, or comparable enterprise recruiting systems is preferred.
- A continuous improvement mindset, strong change management capabilities, creative problem-solving skills, and an ability to evaluate and implement innovative recruiting strategies are essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, along with strong relationship-building, collaboration, organization, project management, and follow-through abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are important for translating recruiting metrics and talent market insights into practical business decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred.
- Base salary range of $101,914.10–$159,871.32, with compensation potentially varying based on skills, experience, job complexity, budget, and location.
