The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Ticketing Coordinator based in India.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ticketing Coordinator to support ticketing operations for live entertainment, VIP experiences, and destination events. In this role, you will manage daily and weekly sales reporting across multiple ticketing platforms and ensure accurate communication with external partners. You will work closely with ticketing managers, artist representatives, agents, promoters, and venue teams to keep ticketing information reliable and up to date. Your responsibilities will span sales tracking, inventory reconciliation, VIP package coordination, refunds, and post-event settlements. You will also help maintain smooth ticketing operations by monitoring deadlines, resolving discrepancies, and supporting presale and on-sale activities. This remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working with data, managing recurring workflows, and delivering accurate results in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Accountabilities

  • Sales Reporting and Partner Communication: Collect weekly VIP and travel package sales figures from platforms such as Ticketmaster, AXS, Tixr, Ticketstoday, and venue box office reports. Maintain master tracking spreadsheets, calculate sold and allocated inventory, monitor remaining availability and sales percentages, and prepare clear weekly updates for artist management teams, agents, and promoters.
  • Daily Reporting and Inbox Management: Prepare and distribute daily sales reports by 12 PM US Eastern Time, including day-over-day changes for destination events. Monitor shared inboxes, respond to routine data requests, and direct partner questions and operational issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Inventory Management and Show Settlements: Ensure VIP packages are taken off sale within the required deadlines, generally three to seven days before each show. Reconcile tickets sold against allocated inventory, track fees and net amounts payable to partners, document released or returned holds, and coordinate post-event settlements.
  • Refunds and Financial Reconciliation: Track refunds, price adjustments, and venue-processed transactions to ensure internal records match actual sales. Request purchaser lists from venues and follow up on outstanding information.
  • Ticketing Setup and Quality Assurance: Coordinate ticketing details and inventory hold requests with venues and promoters before presales. Verify that ticketing links work correctly and that pricing, package information, and inventory details are consistent across platforms. Identify discrepancies and escalate them promptly.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Assist Guest Services with ticketing inquiries from VIP and travel package customers. Maintain accurate documentation of ticketing platforms, access details, venue contacts, and tour-specific procedures to support operational continuity.
  • Workflow Optimization: Manage recurring tasks and deadlines through tools such as Asana, Google Sheets, Excel, Gmail, and Slack. Contribute to reporting automation using AI tools and scripts, including Claude, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Education and Experience: Previous experience in ticketing coordination, sales operations, reporting, administration, or a related field is beneficial. Experience in live entertainment, music touring, travel, or hospitality is an advantage.
  • Spreadsheet Expertise: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including lookups, pivot tables, structured reporting, data formatting, and identifying inconsistencies in numerical information.
  • Written Communication: Excellent written English, with the ability to produce polished, clear, and professional emails for senior external stakeholders and business partners.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling sales figures, inventory allocations, refunds, financial settlements, and reporting data.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage a high volume of recurring tasks independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain consistent reporting schedules without frequent reminders.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster (TM1 or ISM), AXS, Tixr, or Ticketstoday is preferred. Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, and web-based databases is an advantage.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Confidence investigating discrepancies, reconciling information across multiple sources, and escalating issues with clear supporting details.
  • Remote Collaboration: Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with distributed teams and external partners.
  • Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Friday with daily overlap during US Eastern business hours, including additional flexibility around presales, on-sales, and event weeks when agreed in advance.
  • Adaptability: Openness to working with AI-assisted tools and automated reporting processes to streamline recurring operational tasks.
  • Competitive Compensation: Salary details were not specified in the original job description.
  • Remote Work: Work remotely from India while collaborating with an international team.
  • Full-Time Employment: A full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with a consistent reporting schedule.
  • Industry Exposure: Gain hands-on experience supporting VIP packages, live music tours, destination events, and major entertainment partners.
  • Professional Development: Build expertise in ticketing operations, sales analytics, inventory management, reconciliation, and partner communications.
  • Modern Tools and Automation: Work with established ticketing platforms, cloud-based collaboration tools, and emerging AI-assisted reporting workflows.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with ticketing leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, internationally oriented organization.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Complete reporting, data collection, and reconciliation tasks outside the daily US-hours overlap window where operational requirements allow, with occasional event-related flexibility agreed in advance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
