This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Change Management & Organization Design based in the United States.
This is a highly visible executive leadership role focused on helping a global organization navigate enterprise-wide transformation and an AI-enabled future. You will sit within the People & Culture leadership function and work closely with the Transformation Office and senior executives. The role combines enterprise strategy with hands-on execution across change management, organization design, workforce strategy, capability building, and AI adoption. You will translate ambitious transformation priorities into practical programs, operating models, learning experiences, and behavioral change. Working with a lean team and matrixed partners, you will influence how employees work, collaborate, develop skills, and adapt to emerging technologies. You will use workforce analytics, business metrics, and employee insights to guide decisions and demonstrate measurable transformation outcomes. Success will require an executive presence, strong facilitation skills, strategic judgment, and the ability to personally turn complex transformation goals into meaningful action.
Accountabilities
- Own the delivery of enterprise change and capability-building programs in partnership with business leaders and transformation stakeholders.
- Develop and lead AI-enabled change management strategies, frameworks, methodologies, and internal capabilities that accelerate adoption and sustainable behavior change.
- Create compelling change narratives, stakeholder engagement strategies, communication plans, training programs, and reinforcement mechanisms that help employees understand and embrace new ways of working.
- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that modernize workflows, operating models, organizational structures, and capabilities across the enterprise.
- Identify transformation risks, dependencies, readiness requirements, and adoption barriers, and work with senior leaders to address them.
- Design and deliver enterprise training, workshops, toolkits, playbooks, and enablement programs that accelerate AI adoption and digital fluency.
- Personally facilitate high-impact leadership sessions, employee workshops, learning experiences, and change interventions.
- Operate as a player-coach, using a lean team, subject-matter experts, HR partners, business leaders, and matrixed resources to execute transformation at scale.
- Extend enterprise capability-building beyond technology and AI initiatives to broader culture, leadership, collaboration, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop leadership enablement programs covering areas such as AI-enabled product development, business acumen, go-to-market strategy, and product-led growth.
- Lead workforce transformation initiatives as AI changes roles, skills, team structures, and approaches to product and engineering delivery.
- Develop workforce strategies for geographically distributed teams and help define effective operating practices for a virtual organization.
- Lead organization design and strategic workforce planning efforts, ensuring structures, roles, skills, and operating models evolve with business and technology needs.
- Use workforce and skills analytics to forecast future capabilities and guide strategic talent investments.
- Lead organization and workflow redesigns that improve agility, effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance.
- Guide executive leaders through organizational transformations, operating model changes, workforce planning, and strategic talent decisions.
- Build enterprise-wide upskilling, reskilling, career mobility, AI literacy, and digital capability-building programs.
- Help define the future skills architecture and digital capability roadmap required for an AI-enabled organization.
- Partner with People Analytics to develop executive dashboards measuring organizational health, capability growth, employee experience, productivity, adoption, and transformation outcomes.
- Quantify transformation value, build business cases for workforce and organizational investments, and communicate return on investment using business and workforce metrics.
- Use data and analytics to monitor adoption, identify improvement opportunities, and inform strategic decisions.
- Work within responsible AI and enterprise governance frameworks supporting workforce and organizational transformation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, building alignment and influencing enterprise decisions through strategic thinking and strong executive presence.
- Champion innovation, learning, transparency, adaptability, and employee engagement while ensuring transformation delivers measurable business outcomes.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across organization design, workforce strategy, change management, HR transformation, business transformation, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives at VP, Senior Director, or equivalent leadership level within complex, global organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading organization redesigns, operating model transformations, workforce planning initiatives, and enterprise change programs.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive adoption across highly matrixed organizations.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with experience applying workforce insights and business metrics to strategic decisions.
- Experience leading AI-enabled workforce or business transformation initiatives, including adoption of GenAI tools, copilots, agents, or intelligent workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to translate emerging technologies into practical business outcomes, workforce strategies, and capability-building programs.
- Experience creating enterprise change management frameworks and adoption programs with measurable business impact.
- Deep understanding of workforce analytics, talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale training, upskilling, reskilling, and adoption programs rather than serving solely as an advisor.
- Proven ability to work through influence and effectively leverage subject-matter experts, business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable operating as both a strategist and hands-on practitioner, including personally developing content, facilitating workshops, leading training, and driving execution.
- Exceptional facilitation, storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong ability to make complex transformation concepts practical, engaging, and actionable for diverse audiences.
- Organization design, workforce planning, or organizational development certifications are highly desirable.
