Bij JOBS IN MIND zoeken we een Automation Engineer voor een gespecialiseerde machinebouwer die innovatieve, klantspecifieke automatiseringsoplossingen ontwikkelt voor internationale klanten.

Ben jij een Automation Engineer die verder kijkt dan alleen PLC-programmatie? Wil je niet alleen software ontwikkelen, maar ook begrijpen hoe een machine werkt en jouw programmatie tot leven zien komen? Dan biedt deze functie je de kans om betrokken te zijn bij het volledige traject, van engineering en programmatie tot testing en internationale inbedrijfstelling.

De functie

Als Automation Engineer werk je aan de ontwikkeling en automatisering van half- tot volautomatische machines. Het gaat voornamelijk om prototypes en maatwerk, waarbij mechanica, elektriciteit en software samenkomen.

Je werkt nauw samen met mechanical en electrical engineers en denkt actief mee over technische oplossingen. Je programmeert niet alleen de machines, maar krijgt ook de kans om ze zelf te testen, te optimaliseren en bij internationale klanten in bedrijf te stellen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwikkelen en programmeren van PLC-software voor klantspecifieke machines en automatiseringsinstallaties.
  • Ontwikkelen van HMI-visualisaties en gebruikersinterfaces.
  • Programmeren van PC-applicaties in C#/.NET waar nodig.
  • Integreren en aansturen van servomotoren, stappenmotoren, pneumatische cilinders, camera's en 3D-scanners.
  • Vertalen van functionele specificaties naar betrouwbare en efficiënte automatiseringsoplossingen.
  • Samenwerken met mechanical en electrical engineers om technische uitdagingen op te lossen.
  • Testen, debuggen en optimaliseren van automatiseringssoftware tijdens de interne opbouw van machines.
  • Ondersteunen van de installatie en inbedrijfstelling bij internationale klanten.
  • Verzorgen van technische uitleg, gebruikersopleidingen en ondersteuning na oplevering.
  • Opstellen en onderhouden van technische documentatie.

Jouw profiel

We zoeken een technisch sterke Automation Engineer die graag programmeert, maar ook interesse heeft in de volledige werking van een machine.

  • Je beschikt over een professionele bachelor in automatisering, elektromechanica, industriële wetenschappen of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring met PLC-programmatie, bij voorkeur binnen machinebouw of industriële automatisering.
  • Ervaring met B&R Automation Studio is een troef. Heb je ervaring met andere PLC-platformen, dan kan je hiervoor worden opgeleid.
  • Kennis van C#/.NET voor het ontwikkelen van PC-applicaties is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt een goede basiskennis van elektriciteit en mechanica en begrijpt hoe deze disciplines samenwerken binnen een machine.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, denkt analytisch en zoekt graag creatieve oplossingen voor technische problemen.
  • Je bent een teamplayer die graag samenwerkt met collega's uit verschillende technische disciplines.
  • Je spreekt zeer goed Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om regelmatig korte buitenlandse verplaatsingen te maken voor installaties en inbedrijfstellingen.
