Ben jij een creatieve Automation Engineer die energie krijgt van het programmeren en optimaliseren van machines? Wil je werken aan hoogtechnologische installaties en complete productielijnen in een internationale omgeving? Onze klant, een toonaangevende speler in de machinebouw, zoekt een Automation Engineer die graag de brug vormt tussen software, techniek en klantgerichte service. Wat ga je doen als Automation Engineer?Als Automation Engineer ben jij het technische brein achter de software van de machines. Je werkt mee aan de programmatie, opstart, testfase en service van zowel eenvoudige machines als complexe geautomatiseerde productielijnen. Programmeren & optimaliseren• Ontwikkelen en verbeteren van PLC-software (TIA Portal), HMI-configuraties, drive- en safety-programma’s. • Programmeren van robots (KUKA) met focus op efficiënte en herbruikbare structuren. • Analyseren en optimaliseren van bestaande programma’s. Testing & commissioning• Machines volledig klaar maken voor gebruik: elektrisch, softwarematig, pneumatisch en hydraulisch. • Configureren van motorsturingen en veiligheidsfuncties. • Begeleiden van de opstart in het atelier en bij klanten wereldwijd (ongeveer 35% reizen). Documentatie & kennisdeling• Documenteren van parameters, wijzigingen en softwareversies. • Opstellen van duidelijke handleidingen voor klanten en collega’s. Service & onderhoud• Technische ondersteuning bij storingen en herstellingen (softwarematig, elektrisch en occasioneel mechanisch). • Ondersteuning bieden op locatie, telefonisch of online. Samenwerking & innovatie• Nauw samenwerken met project engineers, elektriciens en de senior automation engineer. • Meedenken over nieuwe projecten en elektrische schema’s. • Software vooraf testen en functionele parameters van nieuwe machines bepalen.

• Master in industriële wetenschappen (elektronica, elektromechanica of automatisering) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. • Bij voorkeur minstens 3 jaar ervaring in machinebouw. • Sterk in PLC-programmering (Siemens TIA Portal) en HMI-configuraties. • Basiskennis van mechanica, hydraulica en pneumatiek. • Kennis van KUKA robotprogrammatie en VB.net is een pluspunt. • Vloeiend in Nederlands en goede kennis van Frans en/of Engels. • Analytisch, klantgericht en creatief in probleemoplossing. • Zelfstandig, flexibel en stressbestendig, met zin om internationaal te reizen (ca. 35%).
