The posting

Define and execute the U.S. go-to-market strategy by leveraging the existing Kardex AutoStore organization, building strong customer relationships, and establishing the initial local team and operational capabilities.

Your tasks

Main purpose

Lead the market entry and establishment of Kardex Mlog's Systems Business in the United States.

Own the P&L and drive the development of a sustainable and profitable sales pipeline, securing the first strategic customer projects and laying the foundation for long-term growth.

Define and execute the U.S. go-to-market strategy by leveraging the existing Kardex AutoStore organization, building strong customer relationships, and establishing the initial local team and operational capabilities.

As a member of the leadership team, contribute to the overall growth strategy and international expansion of Kardex Mlog.

Reports to: Head of New Business

Your profile

Education & Technical Expertise

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Logistics) with strong commercial and technical knowledge.
  • Open to diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

Industry Experience & Network

  • At least five years of management experience in the intralogistics sector.
  • Possess a well-established industry network.

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets through excellent negotiation skills, relationship-building, and a proven track record in closing deals.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Extensive experience in leading teams, developing talent, and driving high team performance.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in team development and decision-making processes.
  • Combine empathy and social intelligence with a clear focus on business objectives.

Strategic & Operational Agility

  • Confident working under pressure and managing shifting priorities.
  • Maintain focus on key objectives while proactively shaping the future of the New Business organization.

Personal Attributes & Approach

  • Customer-oriented, initiative-driven, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Credible, down-to-earth, and engaging leader who earns trust from customers, colleagues, and team members alike.

Technical Skills & Languages

  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English, with a willingness to travel.
