Automotive Service Advisor
Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown | Watertown, WI
Take ownership. Build trust. Make an impact every day.
A customer walks in worried about their vehicle, their schedule, and what the repair might cost. You have the opportunity to turn that uncertainty into confidence.
At Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown, we’re looking for a Service Advisor who communicates clearly, follows through, and takes pride in helping people. Someone who can keep a busy day moving while making each customer feel like they matter.
The Kayser Automotive Group has served customers for more than 100 years. Help us earn the next customer’s trust.
Your role
You’ll be the connection between our customers and our service team, taking ownership of the experience from the first conversation through vehicle pickup.
• Welcome customers and listen carefully to their concerns. • Document vehicle symptoms and service needs accurately. • Work with technicians and the parts team to prepare clear recommendations and estimates. • Explain what needs attention, why it matters, and what can be planned for later. • Obtain customer approval before additional work begins. • Keep customers informed about pricing, progress, and completion times. • Coordinate appointments, transportation needs, and follow-up. • Review completed work with customers and help them plan their next service visit.
What makes you a strong fit
• You communicate with confidence, patience, and respect. • You stay organized when the phone rings, customers arrive, and plans change. • You recommend needed work honestly and can explain its value. • You take responsibility for solving problems and closing the loop. • You work well with technicians, parts professionals, and fellow advisors. • You’re comfortable learning dealership software and vehicle technology. • Automotive service advising experience is preferred. Strong customer service or sales experience is also worth a conversation.
What we value
Clear expectations. Teamwork. A willingness to learn. The attitude to handle a difficult conversation well and the discipline to do what you said you would do.
Your work matters here. You help customers make informed decisions, help technicians move repairs forward, and give people a reason to return.
