Job description

We are in search of an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Process Control Engineer to join our incredible team. You will be working with a highly experienced team of talented individuals from multiple engineering and business disciplines, with an excellent opportunity for learning and career development in a role that offers constant challenge and innovation. If you are a motivated team player who likes to take on challenges and grow with a company, then this is the role for you!

  • 8 years’ experience years of demonstrated technical experience in a similar role.
  • Hold full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa).
  • Experience in programming/maintenance of control systems platforms (DCS or PLC) platforms including and not limited to Yokogawa (highly regarded), ABB (highly regarded), Emerson, Foxboro, GE PME, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, and Modicon Quantum
  • Experience in programming/development of SCADA systems including Citect, FactoryTalk View, Ignition SCADA (highly regarded), etc.
  • Experience in data management platforms (historian systems for data extraction and analysis) for industrial operations including OSI PI System (highly regarded)
  • Operational experience with fixed plants is highly regarded.
  • Experience working closely with control room operators and site operations.
  • Experience with commissioning activities
  • Ability to analyse process data to determine ideal solutions.
  • Desirable experience working within the mining and resources sector.
  • Functional Safety Certificate (highly regarded)
  • Experience implementing large-scale control system improvements with minimal supervision.
