Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Logistician III to support KMS and our government customer in Elizabeth City, NC.   This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement.  The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina provides logistical support for the aviation fleet for the USCG and other selected government agencies. This support includes depot maintenance, engineering, supply, procurement, information services, and acquisition project execution. The ALC’s Chief of Contracting Office (COCO) provides contracting and procurement support to every ALC product line and division. At the COCO’s discretion, Procurement Technicians will be assigned to various product lines and divisions throughout the ALC. These positions shall support procurement operations by assisting procurement personnel with administrative type duties and perform clerical and technical work that supports the procurement of supplies and services. These positions shall not in any way bind the government contractually. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Requirements Logistician III (Professional Position): The Requirements Logistician III will independently oversee all aspects of requirements analysis, development, and implementation for various divisions throughout the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC). Requirements Logistician III Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to:

Work with personnel throughout ALC and other commands to identify requirements. Conduct market research and complete project planning. Prepare requisition packages. Prepare statements of work, performance work statements, or statements of objectives, as well as other acquisition documents. Ensure the requisition package is consistent with applicable regulations and policies. Ensure requisition package will support internal or external audits. Maintain and track action items, keep the customer updated on the status of projects, and participate in acquisition information management. Evaluate deliverables for technical adequacy. Manage multiple concurrent project tasks, develop schedules, and formulate plans and milestones. Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, minutes, spreadsheets, communications products, briefs, and other documentation as needed. Identify and develop methods, plans, and documents to streamline operating procedures, reports, and systems to improve operations, achieve savings, and encourage long range planning to assure the program/project produces results in a cost-effective manner. Any tasks not listed above must be approved by the COR, Contracting, or Contracting Officer prior to commencement of that task.

Requirements Logistician III Qualifications: The Requirements Logistician III must meet all of the qualifications listed in section 2.1, as well as the following:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, Accounting, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related area or a High School Diploma with at least three (3) years' experience in one of the following areas: Procurement, Logistics, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Legal, or a related field. Intermediate experience in the following programs/software applications (preferred): Microsoft Office Suite, Asset Logistics Management Information Systems (ALMIS), and Aviation Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS).  Must have excellent writing and grammar skills
