Area of Responsibility: PolandLocation: Gdansk (Home-based) About the Role Establish and grow the KGS business in Poland by developing strong relationships with end users, design firms, and system integrators, identifying new business opportunities, and developing fire protection solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Support business growth by increasing awareness of KGS products and working closely with the sales team to develop and follow opportunities through to award. Role and Scope of the Business Development Manager (BDM) Poland As a Business Development Manager Poland, you will be responsible for:
Interacting with end users, design firms, and system integrators to develop projects and solutions using KGS products in Poland.
Developing integrated fire protection solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications to be included in tender specifications.
Identifying opportunities and activities of commercial interest within your area of expertise to be pursued in collaboration with the sales team.
Organizing technical-commercial, regulatory, or promotional events within your area of expertise with relevant stakeholders to raise awareness of KGS products in Poland.
Following sales activities and generated opportunities until they are awarded, providing detailed data and reports in relation to the assigned targets.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience. If your background is mainly in sales, we would ideally look for around 5–10 years of experience.
A technical background in areas such as electrical engineering, electronics, building automation, security systems or fire protection would be a strong advantage.
You should be comfortable discussing technical topics and understanding customer needs. You don’t need to know everything about our products from day one – training will be provided.
Experience working directly with customers, especially end customers, is important for this role.
Experience in the fire and security industry would be a plus.
A technical degree, particularly from a technical university, would be an advantage.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system would be helpful. Training will be provided.
Fluent Polish and good working knowledge of English.
Willingness to travel as part of the role.
