About the Company

Our client is a well-established commercial plumbing contractor with more than 30 years of experience serving South Florida. What began as a one-truck operation has grown into one of the region’s respected plumbing companies, delivering quality workmanship across a wide range of commercial projects.

Their portfolio includes high-rise and mid-rise buildings, shopping centers, office buildings, parking garages, restaurants, schools, universities, municipal facilities, and medical projects. With a strong reputation for experience and execution, the company continues to build its team of skilled professionals.

About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman who can step in and lead commercial new construction projects from day one. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands the full plumbing installation process, can effectively manage crews, and consistently delivers quality work while keeping projects on schedule.

Projects include ground-up commercial construction, particularly schools, universities, and government facilities. This position does not involve condominium or residential construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead plumbing crews through all phases of commercial installation, including ground rough, top-out, and final installation.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure installations meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and daily activities to maintain productivity and project schedules.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure plumbing installations meet applicable codes and specifications.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues and maintain workflow.
  • Monitor jobsite progress and communicate project updates, challenges, and manpower needs.
  • Promote safe work practices and maintain an organized, professional jobsite.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman on commercial new construction projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of ground rough, top-out, and final plumbing installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans and construction specifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage field crews effectively.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and perform with minimal ramp-up.
  • Fluent English required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Dependable, organized, and quality-focused with a strong work ethic.
  • Commercial construction experience required; residential and condominium experience alone will not qualify.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary compensation of $70,000-$100,000, based on experience.
  • Company truck provided or vehicle reimbursement available.
  • Permanent and temporary employment opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work on ground-up commercial projects throughout South Florida.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
