The posting

KING ICT is looking for experienced professionals to join our team as Technical Implementation Managers (TIM).

The Technical Implementation Manager acts as the on-site technical authority, providing oversight, QA, coordination and stakeholder management, for the rollout of new equipment into data centres across multiple international locations (Europe 80%, North America 20%).

What are we looking for?

You have a strong background in systems administration or infrastructure engineering and are ready to take greater ownership of technical implementations and project delivery. Your hands-on knowledge of data center infrastructure enables you to independently assess site surveys, validate technical requirements, and ensure that installations are delivered in line with the approved design and expected quality standards.

Your expertise spans across one or more of the following areas:

  • networking, including switching, routing, firewalls and VLANs,
  • servers, virtualization, storage and rack layouts,
  • structured cabling and power distribution,
  • basic knowledge of cyber security tools.

You can coordinate several contractors across multiple sites and keep their work on schedule without being their line manager. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain accurate, well-structured project and technical records, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and traceable.

You are fluent in written and spoken English (minimum B2 level) and willing to travel internationally during the site survey, implementation and commissioning phases.

What the role involves?

  • Coordinate surveys of existing infrastructure - including networks, patch panels and cabling, servers, hypervisors, storage, racks, power and cooling. Use the findings to confirm site-specific requirements and approve the product baseline (PBL) in accordance with the Site Implementation Plan (SIP).
  • Manage the upgrade of CS enclaves - including servers, switches, firewalls, storage and related equipment - from the initial site survey through customer acceptance and equipment decommissioning, in line with the approved design.
  • Provide site personnel and contractors with the instructions and training needed to carry out their work.
  • Build effective working relationships with local Client authorities to support smooth execution at each site.
  • Coordinate the third-party contractors and suppliers responsible for implementation of work packages.
  • Report on progress, risks and issues to the project management organization.

Who will you work with?

PMO and the TIM lead: schedules, progress, risks and escalations.

  • Client PMO and SMEs: scope, deliverables, and acceptance of documentation and installations.
  • Customer site cyber security personnel: planned activities and their purpose.
  • Customer on-site coordinator: access, daily activities and local constraints.
  • Contractors and suppliers: delivery plans, training, installation, logistics and documentation.
  • Remote Customer SMEs and the testing team in Belgium: remote site configuration, activation and testing.

What do we offer?

  • The opportunity to work on large-scale international data centre rollout projects across Europe and North America.
  • Continuous professional development through technical training, certifications and knowledge sharing within KING ICT.
  • The opportunity to broaden your expertise beyond a single technology domain and develop strong technical coordination, stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, with business travel expenses covered in line with company policies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
