Join our incredible team at Kingman Pulmonary Associates as a Medical Assistant. Our pulmonary program features state-of-the-art technologies and facilities and has a collaborative team model approach as each member of the team works closely together providing advanced patient care.

Position Purpose: Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days - 4x10 schedule

Qualifications:

  • High School or Equivalent
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • Must meet one of the following three criteria:Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following:The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification. National Healthcareer Association: CCMA American Medical Technologist: RMA American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA American Medical Certification Association: CMAC Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States

Work Requirements: Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
