We offer:

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA and Fiori Developer to support a major business transformation program while providing ongoing technical support for existing SAP applications and legacy systems.

The successful candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable SAP solutions using ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Core Data Services (CDS), and OData services. This role requires the ability to manage new implementation deliverables and production-support responsibilities concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development

  • Work with functional consultants, business analysts, and business users to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in solution-design workshops and provide technical recommendations based on SAP standards and best practices.
  • Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, estimates, and development plans.
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Develop and maintain RICEFW objects.
  • Develop object-oriented ABAP programs, classes, interfaces, function modules, and reusable technical components.
  • Develop and enhance SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications for desktop and mobile use.
  • Build SAP Fiori elements applications using appropriate floor plans, templates, and annotations.
  • Develop and maintain CDS views, OData services, APIs, and other integration components.
  • Apply the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) where appropriate.
  • Develop enhancements using BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, user exits, BAPIs, and APIs.
  • Develop and support forms using Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, or other approved SAP technologies.
  • Develop interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and internal or external systems using APIs, IDocs, OData, web services, or middleware.
  • Follow SAP clean-core principles and use upgrade-safe extension approaches wherever possible.
  • Reuse standard SAP functionality before proposing custom development.

SAP Fiori and User Experience

  • Configure and maintain SAP Fiori Launchpad content, including catalogs, spaces, pages, tiles, and target mappings.
  • Design responsive and user-friendly applications that follow SAP Fiori design guidelines.
  • Develop custom SAPUI5 controls, fragments, views, controllers, and reusable components.
  • Troubleshoot SAPUI5, OData, browser, and Fiori Launchpad issues.
  • Work with security teams to support Fiori roles, catalogs, authorizations, and application access.
  • Optimize application performance, usability, accessibility, and compatibility across supported devices and browsers.
  • Ability to use AI tool to optimize the code and performance.

Testing and Deployment

  • Perform unit testing and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Prepare test cases, test data, technical documentation, deployment instructions, and support procedures.
  • Investigate defects and deliver corrections within agreed project timelines.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development, security, and quality standards.
  • Use tools such as the ABAP Test Cockpit, Code Inspector, and performance-analysis tools to validate code quality.
  • Manage development transports and coordinate deployments across SAP environments.
  • Support data conversion, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Use approved source-control and transport-management processes.

Production and Legacy-System Support

  • Develop a strong understanding of existing applications, custom developments, interfaces, and end-to-end system flows.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, application errors, interface failures, performance issues, and data problems.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective solutions.
  • Provide break/fix support, technical guidance, monitoring, testing, and minor enhancements.
  • Monitor background jobs, interfaces, application logs, dumps, and system errors when required.
  • Maintain existing RICEFW objects and other custom developments in both SAP S/4HANA and legacy systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, external vendors, and SAP support to resolve complex issues.

Incident and Change Management

  • Use ServiceNow or a comparable service-management platform to assign, update, track, and resolve tickets.
  • Maintain accurate ticket statuses, work notes, classifications, and resolution details.
  • Escalate or transfer tickets to the appropriate support teams when required.
  • Convert incidents and service requests into change requests when a system modification is necessary.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Assess the impact and risk of proposed technical changes before implementation.

Tasks and Qualifications:

· Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development.

· Advanced knowledge of ABAP and object-oriented ABAP.

· Experience developing SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori elements applications.

· Experience with CDS views, annotations, OData services, and APIs.

· Knowledge of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.

· Experience developing and maintaining RICEFW objects.

· Knowledge of SAP enhancement technologies, including BAdIs, enhancement points, user exits, BAPIs, and APIs.

· Experience integrating SAP with internal and external systems.

· Understanding of SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and security concepts.

· Experience with debugging, performance analysis, code-quality reviews, and technical troubleshooting.

· Knowledge of SAP transport and change-management processes.

· Experience with Git or other source-control tools is preferred.

· Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and cloud-based extension approaches is preferred.

· Understanding of SAP authorization concepts and secure-development practices.

· Experience supporting SAP production systems and working within SLA requirements.

· Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable IT service-management tool.

· Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to balance implementation work, enhancements, and production-support priorities.

Required experience & qualifications

Experience:

  • 5 + years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant experience developing and supporting SAP applications in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience participating in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation program is preferred.
  • SAP development, Fiori, S/4HANA, or BTP certifications are an advantage.

Qualifications/Specialization:

· Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
