Job description

About the RoleThe type of seller we need is changing. We are becoming more consultative in how we sell, and we are looking for people who fix problems in our industry, not just people who sell products.

This is an Enterprise Account Executive role covering the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The ideal candidate is a Partner-first sales leader with 8+ years of selling experience to C-level, Director, and VP-level buyers in enterprise accounts. This AE is a highly motivated team leader who builds and leverages Partner-first relationships and manages sales resources efficiently and effectively.

A strong candidate will use a proven sales methodology, identify customer pain, align solutions, drive business value, provide accurate forecasts, and demonstrate strong closing skills. The AE should have a strong understanding of Third-Party Risk Management, Data Privacy, File Transfer and Network Infrastructure, Security, and/or Compliance.

Location: Candidates must live in the Northeast

What you’ll do

  • Lead sales strategies and team efforts into targeted Enterprise accounts.
  • Sell to key stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, IT executives, and line-of-business executives.
  • Prospect new business by leveraging Partners, sales, and marketing resources.
  • Upsell and expand relationships across the existing customer base.
  • Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Create value for customers and use a solution approach to selling.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply the appropriate resources.
  • Use sales tools, including SFDC, to track activities and manage your business.
  • Maintain a predictable, credible forecast and sales process.
  • Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, and events, and deliver compelling presentations.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise software sales, including selling to C-level, Director, and VP-level buyers.
  • A consultative approach: you solve customer problems rather than push products.
  • Proven Customer and Partner relationships.
  • A history of consistent over-achievement.
  • Technical competence and experience with data protection technologies.
  • Experience in opportunity creation and the challenges of building a business.
  • A passion for winning, with a hungry and highly competitive spirit.
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.

  • Flexibility and readiness to travel frequently.
  • 4-year degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
