ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a talented SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to aid in the development of software and programs and facilitate the proper design and implementation of software in a web-based environment through detailed coding and technical innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The candidate must be a graduate of any related 4-year course.
  • With at least 4 years of experience in software development
  • Must have familiarity with the following: JavaScript, Version control systems, Linux, PHP
  • Knowledgeable of software development life cycle
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Team-player and can work in minimal supervision
  • Willing to work in any KMC Sites
  • Willing to work at night (US Shift)
  • Can start ASAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize various coding languages to design and implement software that meets or exceeds project needs.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to determine best practices and user requirements.
  • Troubleshoot coding problems and analyze code for weaknesses and errors.
  • Dig into existing programs to find the root cause of replicated problems.
  • Adequately test software changes to verify functionality.
  • Build solutions easily reviewed and modified by others.
  • Able to adapt as project scope changes.
  • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members in the use of software applications.
  • Maintain existing programs as needed.
  • Work as part of a team with individual requirements and deadlines.
  • Write technical reports and document test procedures with results.
