We’re hiring: Key Account Manager

Kontempo is building the financial operating system for B2B commerce in Mexico. We help suppliers automate trade credit, payments, and financial workflows so they can grow sales while managing risk. We’re a fast-growing fintech backed by leading investors and work with some of Mexico’s largest industrial companies. We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to own, develop, and grow a portfolio of B2B clients. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with key decision-makers, driving adoption of Kontempo’s platform and credit products, and identifying opportunities to increase transaction volume and deepen each client relationship.

Must haves

  • Experience managing and growing mid- to high-value B2B accounts
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers and commercial teams
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of identifying and executing growth opportunities
  • Excellent follow-up, organization, and account management skills
  • Clear, structured, and persuasive communication
  • Analytical, proactive, and highly results-driven mindset
  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or B2B financial products
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership

Key responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic B2B accounts
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive customer engagement and retention
  • Increase transaction volume, product adoption, and account penetration
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities, including cross-sell and credit line increases
  • Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and build account growth plans
  • Partner closely with Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, Collections, and Product to solve client needs and unlock growth
