KPFF Latitude is seeking a Strategic Growth Leader to partner with our Principals, Associates, and Team Leaders in identifying opportunities, strengthening relationships, and supporting thoughtful growth across our region. The role will be highly collaborative and tailored to the needs of each office, with a more hands-on presence in Louisville and Lexington, including building relationships with clients and partners throughout Kentucky. Across our broader region, this person will provide market intelligence, research, strategic guidance, and a three- to twelve-month view of emerging opportunities while empowering local seller-doers to remain at the forefront of their client relationships and communities. The role will also connect teams across KPFF Latitude around a select group of strategic clients, helping us share insights, coordinate our approach, and pursue opportunities together.

What You’ll Do

Strengthen Client and Market Relationships

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and industry partners, particularly throughout Kentucky.
  • Stay connected to activity in the market and help KPFF remain informed and engaged with the clients and communities we serve.
  • Partner with Principals, Associates, and Team Leaders to identify priority clients, relationships, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Help translate client and market conversations into practical next steps with clear ownership and consistent follow-through.
  • Support the development of client relationships that can create opportunities across multiple KPFF offices and markets.

Identify and Anticipate Opportunities

  • Maintain a three- to twelve-month view of relevant requests for proposals, client activity, market developments, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct client, industry, and competitor research to help leaders make informed decisions.
  • Recognize patterns and market signals that may influence KPFF’s growth strategy.
  • Help teams prepare for important client meetings, pursuits, presentations, and relationship-development activities.

Support Regional Growth Strategy

  • Work with office leaders to clarify target clients, priority opportunities, and market strategies.
  • Provide strategic and market-intelligence support to offices throughout the KPFF Latitude region.
  • Bring additional structure, information, and follow-through to business-development efforts.
  • Travel to regional offices and client engagements when in-person participation will strengthen the strategy or relationship.

Coordinate Strategic Client Efforts

  • Help develop and coordinate a unified strategy for a select group of clients whose relationships and opportunities span multiple KPFF offices.
  • Maintain a shared understanding of key relationships, current work, potential opportunities, and relationship gaps.
  • Bring the appropriate leaders and technical professionals together around common client priorities.
  • Establish clear actions, ownership, and follow-up to keep client strategies active and moving forward.
  • Help KPFF present a coordinated, client-centered approach across offices and service areas.

Collaborate Across KPFF

  • Coordinate with our Marketing team, firm leadership, technical professionals, and cross-office teams to support priority relationships and opportunities.
  • Partner with our Marketing team on proposals, presentations, communications, events, research, and other materials that advance identified priorities.
  • Provide supportive accountability while respecting the relationship ownership and technical responsibilities of KPFF’s seller-doers.
  • Help leaders remain informed, focused, prepared, and consistent in their business-development efforts.

Qualifications

We are looking for a thoughtful and credible relationship builder who is comfortable working alongside senior leaders and technical professionals. The strongest candidate will combine strategic judgment with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and help move the work forward.

Professional Background

  • Experience in business development, strategic growth, client relationship management, market strategy, or professional services.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, industry partners, senior leaders, and technical professionals.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess market trends, client activity, and opportunities and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive consistent follow-through.
  • Collaborative and influential approach, with the ability to build alignment and accountability while supporting existing relationship owners.
  • Sound judgment and discretion, with the ability to maintain a regular presence in Louisville and Lexington and travel regionally as needed.
  • Ability to maintain a regular in-person presence in Louisville and Lexington.
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices, client meetings, and industry events as business needs warrant.

Preferred Quailifications

  • Experience supporting growth initiatives within architecture, engineering, construction, commercial real estate, professional services, or another relationship-driven industry.
  • Familiarity with client-development and pursuit processes, including requests for proposals, presentations, market research, and strategic account planning.
  • Knowledge of the Kentucky business community and regional architecture, engineering, construction, development, or institutional markets.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
