KPMG's International Corporate Tax practice continues to expand its support for multinational organizations navigating cross-border tax matters and evolving global tax frameworks. This includes growing demand related to Pillar Two compliance, implementation, and advisory work, alongside broader international tax planning, reorganizations, and transaction-related tax matters.

As a Manager, International Corporate Tax, you will lead complex compliance and advisory engagements for multinational organizations, providing guidance on cross-border tax matters and emerging global tax developments. You will work closely with clients and senior leadership to deliver practical tax solutions while supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

What you will do

  • Lead technical research and provide practical recommendations on complex cross-border tax issues
  • Advise clients on international tax planning opportunities, restructurings, transactions, and organizational changes
  • Review tax analyses, calculations, and deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and quality
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact on ongoing engagements
  • Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and specialists across Tax, Legal, and Deal Advisory practices to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support multinational clients with international expansion, acquisitions, divestitures, financing structures, and reorganizations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members, including reviewing work and providing performance feedback
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, client proposals, and thought leadership activities
  • Leverage KPMG tax technologies and digital solutions to enhance service delivery and client outcomes
  • Manage and review international corporate tax compliance engagements, including Pillar Two reporting and compliance requirements

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum 4 years specializing in tax in a public accounting or law firm with strong technical skills. International tax experience is an asset, but candidates without international tax experience will be considered if candidates have experience dealing with complex technical issues and transactions.
  • Professional accounting or legal designation.
  • Completed, or nearly completed the CPA In-Depth tax course.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
  • Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand the clients business.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
  • Emphasizes on quality and adds value in their client offerings and services.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Due to the nature of this role, proficiency in English is required in addition to French. You will be required to communicate directly with colleagues and clients across Canada and internationally, including multinational organizations operating in English-speaking jurisdictions, where English is the common business language.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
