The posting

Veel mensen hebben weleens een achterstand in de betalingen van hun financiële verplichtingen. Soms lopen die achterstanden zodanig op, dat mensen het overzicht kwijtraken en er schulden ontstaan. Voor ondersteuning en advies bij deze financiële problemen kunnen mensen terecht bij de schulddienstverlening van de gemeente Hellevoetsluis. In samenwerking met de gemeente is Kwadraad het project Brede Aanpak van Achterliggende Schuldproblemen (BAAS) gestart om mensen met financiële problemen en vragen op een breder vlak te ondersteunen.

Wat ga je doen?

Voor project BAAS zoeken wij vrijwilligers, budgetcoaches, die inwoners met financiële problemen of vragen ondersteunen bij het op orde brengen van hun financiële huishouding. Hierbij kun je denken aan het aanvragen van toeslagen, kwijtschelding en minimaregelingen. Maar ook het uitzoeken en ordenen van de post en administratie en het verzamelen van documenten voor het schuldendossier. De budgetcoach ondersteunt de klant bij het opdoen van kennis en vaardigheden waardoor hij op een verantwoorde manier met zijn geld leert om te gaan.

Naast het persoonlijke contact met de klant geeft de budgetcoach ook verschillende workshops op het gebied van omgaan met geld en hun administratie samen met een medewerker van Kwadraad. De taken en werkzaamheden worden altijd in overleg met de budgetcoach vastgesteld. Hetzelfde geldt voor werkdagen en werktijden.

Wij zoeken een vrijwilliger die affiniteit heeft met het op orde brengen van financiën. Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende:

- Je bent eerlijk, betrouwbaar en zorgvuldig;

- Je bezit goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden;

- Je bent in staat om gepaste afstand te bewaren en kunt goed omgaan met de moeilijkheden in de situatie;

- Je wilt leren hoe je bepaalde aanvragen kunt regelen, denk aan toeslagen en uitkeringen aanvragen, kwijtscheldingen, minimaregelingen, etc;

- Je kunt anderen positief motiveren en ondersteunen, zonder dat je alles uit handen neemt;

- Je vindt het niet erg om bij mensen thuis te komen en zelfstandig te werken.

- Begeleiding van de coördinator budgetcoaching, en de uitnodiging voor doorlopende intervisie.

- Een vrijwilligerscontract, daarmee ben je verzekerd tijdens het uitvoeren van jouw werk;

- Een vergoeding voor reiskosten en onkosten;
