LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions.

If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.

Role Purpose

You will help bring the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games to communities across Southern California and the country. As Senior Associate, Live Sites and Venue Experiences, you manage the review, contracting, and planning process for community-hosted events, and lead teams across LA28 in creating clear guides on how those events run and use LA28 assets. You coordinate marketing materials, manage project logistics and timelines, and represent Live Sites and Venue Experiences in cross-department planning, keeping every partner aligned on what happens, where, and when.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the application review, contracting, and event planning process for community-hosted events in Southern California and nationally.

· Lead teams across LA28 to create practical guides on how events run, use LA28 assets, and follow restrictions.

· Lead the creation and review of communication materials, maps, and promotional content for Games-time parallel events.

· Manage project logistics, timelines, and plans, and represent Live Sites and Venue Experiences at inter-department working sessions.

· Partner with Games Delivery, External Affairs, Marketing, Fan Experience, Transportation, Brand, Legal, and Finance to keep deliverables aligned.

Required Competencies

· Minimum 4 years of work experience in event production, experiential marketing, or project management, ideally for public-facing events.

· Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder interests and find creative solutions that balance their needs with operational realities.

· Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, venue operations and production, HR, finance, and legal teams.

· Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with experience building and scaling systems and workflows that measurably improve team performance.

· Experience managing event applications, contracting, or planning processes with external organizers, sponsors, or community partners across multiple locations.

Valued Experience

· Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movement.

· Strong operational delivery and program execution skills.

· Clear communicator with strong presentation preparation skills.

· Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.

· Passion for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement.

What We Offer

· A hands-on role bringing the Games to communities beyond the venues.

· Collaboration with nearly every department across the organizing committee.

· A creative, collaborative team that values initiative and problem solving.

· A direct part in how fans celebrate the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What This Role Means for the Games

The events you help shape let communities celebrate the Games far beyond the competition venues. Clear planning and strong partnerships make every Live Site feel connected to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

· Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.

· The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

· The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

· Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.

· Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

· Ability to travel to site visits in and around Southern California.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
