The posting

Press Assistant 2 - Plate Utility

Shift: Nights - 12 hour shift - 7p-7a Pay: $22.00 - $27.40 per hour Additional Incentives:

$100 Safety Shoe Reimbursement $100 Safety Glasses Reimbursement Company will provide all tools necessary 2 Weeks Vacation Training provided

Work Hours: Nights - 12 hour rotating shifts; 4 days on 4 days off

Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West.

As a Press Assistant/Stacker Operator, you will:

Perform all required safety inspections and operate equipment according to establish safe job procedures

Set up machines for the next print run, monitor 2 stackers (machines that stack pages of a book), 2 industrial robots and 1 robotic palletizer. Assist team with machine printing functions as needed. Conduct quality checks frequently Conduct bi-weekly maintenance tasks as assigned Work in a team environment and cross-train with others. Receive training to help advance your career.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 20 to 60 pounds; up to 80 pounds occasionally with assistance Ability to stand for the entire duration of a 12- hour shift

Qualifications:

Previous Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge Interpersonal skills: Being cooperative and working well with others Adaptability: willing and able to grasp new tasks and challenges
