Clinical Research Coordinator – Endocrinology & Pediatrics (Tekton Research)

Richmond, VA | Full-Time | Onsite

Exciting Opportunity to Advance Clinical Research in a Private Practice Setting!

Are you an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, patient-focused environment?

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to manage clinical research studies in Richmond, VA. This position will work primarily with a well-established private endocrinology practice, with additional involvement in clinical research at a local pediatric practice.

The CRC will have dedicated office space within the medical practice and work closely with physicians, study participants, and research sponsors to coordinate clinical trials and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage clinical research studies from initiation through completion.
  • Recruit, screen, consent, and schedule study participants.
  • Collaborate with physicians, sponsors, and research teams to ensure successful study execution.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation, regulatory records, and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
  • Perform study-related procedures, including vital signs, ECGs, and specimen collection, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate laboratory specimen collection, processing, and shipment.
  • Monitor participant safety and ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and FDA regulations.
  • Assist with sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

  • Prior Clinical Research Coordinator experience required (minimum 1 year; 2+ years preferred).
  • Experience coordinating clinical trials and maintaining regulatory documentation.
  • Knowledge of GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and clinical research procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with physicians and research teams.
  • Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
  • Pediatric phlebotomy experience strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or science-related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize that clinical research requires flexibility and dedication, particularly during busy periods of patient recruitment and enrollment. For this reason, our CRCs are paid hourly and are eligible for overtime pay. We believe that when our coordinators put in extra hours to ensure the success of a study, they deserve to be compensated for that additional effort.

Our generous compensation and benefits package includes:

  • Competitive hourly pay of $32–$38, based on experience
  • Overtime compensation for eligible hours worked beyond 40 hours per week
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous paid time off
  • Retirement plan
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth

Why Join Tekton Research?

You'll enjoy the opportunity to work directly with physicians in established private medical practices while contributing to meaningful research in endocrinology and pediatrics. With a dedicated onsite workspace, supportive colleagues, excellent benefits, and a compensation structure that recognizes your hard work, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced CRC looking to take the next step in their career.

If you're an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator who enjoys working closely with physicians and patients while helping advance medical research, we'd love to hear from you!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
