Om Radar Reticence

Radar Reticence är ett start-up som utvecklar nästa generations radarteknik för säkrare och mer autonoma fordon. Med grund i djup svensk radarkompetens och forskning från Högskolan i Halmstad gör vår patenterade mjukvarubaserade lösning fordonsradar mer robust mot interferens - en av de snabbast växande utmaningarna inom avancerat förarstöd och autonom mobilitet.

Vi går nu in i en spännande tillväxtfas: från avancerad forskning och validerad testning mot chipintegration, proof-of-concept med kunder och kommersiell lansering tillsammans med ledande aktörer i fordons- och radarekosystemet. Under 2026 säkrade Radar Reticence långsiktig finansiering genom en ny investeringsrunda och tilldelades EIC Accelerator-finansiering från Europeiska unionen.

Examensarbetet utgår från vårt kontor i Linköping.

Examensarbete i informationsdesign om att göra radarinterferens begriplig

Vi säljer en teknik som ingen kan se. Radarinterferens är ett verkligt och växande säkerhetsproblem, men det är abstrakt, och den som ska fatta beslut om vår lösning är inte alltid ingenjör. Vi har svårt att göra problemet och nyttan begripliga för investerare, partners, rekryter och mässbesökare. Vi föreslår därför ett examensarbete med frågeställningen: hur kan ett abstrakt signalfenomen som radarinterferens visualiseras så att en icke-teknisk mottagare förstår både problemet och värdet av lösningen? Vi ser gärna att studenten arbetar med informations design och visualisering, prövar olika visuella representationer mot faktiska målgrupper och landar i ett visuellt språk som vi kan använda konsekvent på hemsida, i presentationer och i mässmaterial. Vi är öppna för att studenten formulerar om eller smalnar av frågeställningen. Har studenten egna idéer om hur vår kommunikation bäst kan undersökas lyssnar vi gärna på det.

Kvalifikationer

Student inom informationsdesign, grafisk design, medieteknik, visuell kommunikation eller motsvarande, med intresse för att förklara komplexa tekniska fenomen visuellt. Erfarenhet av illustration, diagram eller animation är meriterande – någon radarkunskap krävs inte. Arbetet kan utföras både som ett enskilt projekt och som ett gemensamt projekt med två studenter.
