Job Responsibilities & Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and fit-out projects, particularly shell & core developments.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm installation and fit-out works.
  • Experience with Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting (EL), Exit Lights, FM-200 and related fire protection systems.
  • Hands-on experience in cable pulling, conduiting, continuity testing and proper cable routing.
  • Skilled in device fixing, proper terminations, neat installation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm modules, NO/NC contacts and interfacing with other systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and follow installation requirements.
  • Experience in device labelling, testing & commissioning (T&C), system handover and preparation of service/installation reports.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with main contractor supervisors, engineers and other MEP teams.
  • Ensure all installation works meet project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience with a fire protection company is preferred.
  • UAE experience is an advantage.
