Job Description

Just imagine shaping safer, more resilient facilities across the LEGO® Group’s global operations. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Global Hard Services Specialist, you’ll guide engineering, maintenance and asset management across our global facilities portfolio. You’ll connect global standards with local execution, helping facility teams improve infrastructure reliability, compliance, sustainability and business continuity.

Some international travel may be part of the role as you connect with teams and facilities across our global operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Operated and optimized medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution, emergency power, UPS and generator systems in manufacturing or industrial facilities.
  • Developed and implemented maintenance, asset management or reliability strategies across multiple sites.
  • Conducted site assessments to verify electrical systems against applicable safety legislation, engineering standards and corporate requirements.
  • Delivered operational and maintenance input for new installations, capital projects or facility upgrades.
  • Completed a relevant degree in electrical, mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
  • Worked with Facilities, Environment, Health and Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Production or external service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Improved maintenance practices and operating models to increase asset reliability, efficiency and service delivery.
  • Applied Building Management Systems, building automation, controls integration or smart building technologies within facility operations.
  • Supported heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, chilled water plants, compressed air systems or fire prevention systems.
  • Led the adoption of standardized maintenance and asset-management practices across regional facility teams.

What you'll build

  • Advise local teams on hard services, capital projects, energy efficiency, resilience and infrastructure redundancy.
  • Review business continuity plans and help teams strengthen operational readiness and emergency response.
  • Shape global engineering, maintenance and asset-management standards.
  • Improve lifecycle planning through maintenance regimes and asset condition assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, predictive maintenance and data-led decision-making.
  • Promote consistent practices that improve reliability and facility performance across regions.

If you’ve worked where facility reliability, electrical infrastructure and maintenance strategy come together, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is turning technical complexity into practical recommendations that local teams can apply.

Life on the team

You’ll join the Global Center of Excellence within Workplace Solutions and Operations. The team is moving towards a consistent global operating model while supporting local facility teams and service partners. You’ll contribute through clear communication, constructive collaboration and a practical approach to sharing knowledge.

What success looks like

You’ll become a trusted technical authority who can challenge solutions, guide local teams and improve engineering governance. Your work will reduce operational risk, strengthen resilience and extend asset lifecycles across our facilities. You’ll work closely with facility teams, engineering partners, sustainability colleagues, production teams and external service providers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
