About the role
The Exchange TRX is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to support the mall's finance operations, with a primary focus on lease management, SST compliance, and accounts receivable activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lease-related finance processes, including rental billing, service charges, turnover rent calculations, lease amendments, and tenant account reconciliations
- Lead and manage the preparation, review, and timely submission of Sales & Service Tax (SST) returns.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, tenant accounts, and ageing management.
- Ensure compliance with SST regulations and support tax audits, queries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and lease data within the ERP system.
- Liaise with tenants and internal stakeholders to resolve billing, lease, and finance-related matters.
- Support audits, statutory reporting requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within shopping malls, retail, or commercial property environments.
- Strong experience in lease management, rental billing, and tenant accounting
- Hands-on experience in SST preparation and submission is essential.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Experience with ERP systems; Yardi experience is highly preferred.
- Exposure to full set accounts will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Meticulous, highly organised, and detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
