Sous la responsabilité de la coordination aquatique, le/la formateur.trice aura comme mandat principal d’enseigner les cours de croix et médaille de bronze et/ou le cours de sauveteur national et requalifications nationales selon les normes établies par la société de sauvetage.   Le défi que nous vous proposons

Enseigner la formation selon la description de cours de l’association; Assurer la sécurité en tout temps de leur groupe; Observer les participants et donner de la rétroaction et des correctifs au besoin; Évaluer les participants dans le cadre de l’examen pour la certification; Surveiller les participants, afin de s’assurer du respect des règlements en vigueur et afin de leur porter secours en cas de difficultés; S’assurer du bon fonctionnement et de la qualité de l’équipement nécessaire aux cours; Remplir toute la documentation requise par la Société de Sauvetage afin d’émettre la certification aux participants Adhérer aux politiques et procédures du YMCA régissant la protection des enfants et des personnes vulnérables; Comprendre et intégrer la valeur de la philanthropie au sein de son poste et dans l’association, et participer à des activités/évènements de collecte de fonds.

  La personne que nous recherchons Pour mener à bien sa mission, le/la formateur.trice devrait :  

Détenir un diplôme d’études secondaire (DES) terminé; Détenir les certifications requises par la Société de sauvetage; Détenir la certification RCR DEA; Être moniteur/formateur en sauvetage Être Ponctuel, responsable, souriant et motivé; Maîtrise du français; Maîtrise de l'anglais fonctionnel;

L’employé.e aura à communiquer en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, avec diverses personnes sur une base quotidienne.
