Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde speler binnen de havenactiviteiten in Zeebrugge. Veiligheid, kwaliteit, productiviteit en samenwerking staan centraal in de dagelijkse werking. Er wordt ingezet op innovatie, opleiding en een efficiënte organisatie van de operationele activiteiten.

Voor een gevestigde speler in de haven van Zeebrugge zoeken we een Operations Officer die instaat voor de voorbereiding, opvolging en optimalisatie van scheepsoperaties.

  • organiseren en opvolgen van scheepsoperaties: de ploegbezetting en taakverdeling voorbereiden, aanwezig zijn op de premeeting en de operaties tijdens de shift opvolgen
  • veiligheid en kwaliteit bewaken: controleren of de veiligheids- en kwaliteitsinstructies worden nageleefd, risicoanalyses uitvoeren en incidenten en schadegevallen rapporteren
  • medewerkers aansturen en coachen: de ploegbazen, ceelbazen, foremannen en markeerders ondersteunen en zorgen voor een vlotte samenwerking met de havenarbeiders
  • operationele problemen oplossen: inspelen op onverwachte situaties, bijsturen waar nodig en voorstellen formuleren om de efficiëntie te verbeteren
  • rapporteren en analyseren: rendements-, kwaliteits- en productiviteitsrapporten opmaken en afwijkingen signaleren
  • administratief opvolgen: loonadministratie en kostenallocatie verwerken, dossiers afwerken en de informatiestroom via de operationele systemen opvolgen

Wie ben jij?

  • je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een nautische, logistieke of technische richting
  • je hebt nautische kennis of ervaring; een opleiding tot Port Facility Safety Officer (PFSO) is een pluspunt
  • je werkt vlot met MS Office, in het bijzonder Excel, en beschikt over ruimtelijk en cijfermatig inzicht
  • je bent communicatief, besluitvaardig en stressbestendig en kan medewerkers aansturen en coachen
  • je bent flexibel en speelt vlot in op veranderende operationele omstandigheden
