Voor een familiebedrijf gespecialiseerd in logistiek en transport zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Transportplanner Containertransport.

Je komt terecht in een stabiele onderneming met een familiale sfeer en een hecht team. Binnen deze functie speel je een belangrijke rol in het organiseren en opvolgen van containertransporten. Dankzij jouw inzicht en organisatietalent zorg je ervoor dat alles zo vlot mogelijk blijft verlopen.

Jobomschrijving

Als Transportplanner ben je de centrale schakel tussen chauffeurs, klanten, terminals en interne collega's. Je zorgt ervoor dat containers op het juiste moment op de juiste plaats terechtkomen.

Transport is een wereld waarin plannen soms snel veranderen. Met jouw vooruitziende blik, stressbestendigheid en oplossingsgerichte aanpak weet je hier perfect mee om te gaan.

Wat houdt jouw takenpakket in?

  • Plannen, organiseren en opvolgen van containertransporten, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
  • Opvolgen van laad en lostijden, ritten en chauffeurs.
  • Rekening houden met kaaien, terminals, tijdsloten en de dagelijkse havenactiviteiten.
  • Snel en efficiënt inspelen op vertragingen, wijzigingen en onverwachte situaties.
  • Dagelijks communiceren met chauffeurs, klanten, terminals en collega's.
  • Administratief verwerken en opvolgen van transportdocumenten en registraties.
  • Bewaken van een efficiënte planning en ervoor zorgen dat de logistieke flow continu blijft draaien.

Wie zoeken we?

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die de transportwereld kent en zich vlot door de havenlogistiek beweegt. Ervaring en inzicht in containertransport zijn hierbij essentieel.

  • Je hebt kennis van containertransport en begrijpt de werking van deze sector.
  • De haven en haar terminals zijn jou vertrouwd. Begrippen zoals linkeroever, rechteroever, kaaien, tijdsloten en containerafmetingen kennen voor jou geen geheimen.
  • Je kan snel schakelen en behoudt het overzicht wanneer de planning onverwacht verandert.
  • Je bent dynamisch, stressbestendig en denkt proactief mee.
  • Werken met meerdere schermen en verschillende computerprogramma's vormt geen probleem.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en neemt vlot telefonisch contact op met chauffeurs, klanten en andere betrokken partijen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je hebt een flexibele ingesteldheid en begrijpt dat transport niet altijd binnen de klassieke kantooruren verloopt.
