The posting

Company Overview

LevelUp is a specialist agency that provides outsourcing solutions to agencies, software vendors, and website owners. For over seven years, we have successfully collaborated with a variety of companies, providing valuable technical, operational, and back-office support. We have a large team of skilled and passionate professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality work for our clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven Data Analytics & Revenue Reporting Specialist to drive data-informed financial strategies, ensure reporting continuity, and optimize revenue performance. In this critical role, you will be responsible for keeping key recurring revenue metrics—such as Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)—accurate, aligned, and timely. You will also directly support high-impact transformation projects. As a primary steward of revenue data, you will deep dive into complex datasets, construct dashboards, reconcile financial data across disparate platforms, and translate technical findings into clear, strategic narratives for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Role Details

• Schedule: Aligned with US Central Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PH Time).

• Commitment: Initially a specialized part-time role requiring focused dedication (6 to 8 hours per day during the first week of each month for the monthly close/reporting cycle, with full-time work required during the initial 3–4 weeks for onboarding). There is a potential pathway to transition into a full-time position as projects scale.

Reference: 2642-123348

Responsibilities

  • ARR & MRR Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on core SaaS revenue metrics including new, upgrade, downgrade, expansion, and churned ARR/MRR during key financial reporting windows.
  • Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Build, enhance, and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio, Excel, and Google Sheets to visualize trends and KPIs for executive stakeholders.
  • Data Reconciliation & Validation: Validate data consistency and identify discrepancies across enterprise platforms, including Salesforce (CRM), NetSuite (ERP), Stripe (Billing), and BigQuery (Data Warehouse).
  • Data QA & Troubleshooting: Quality assure upstream and downstream data feeds, perform root-cause analysis on reporting discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across the entire analytics pipeline.
  • Strategic Project Support: Actively support ongoing transformation projects, assisting in defining metrics, refining data models, and establishing automated reporting workflows.
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Assist finance and revenue operations in creating and updating forecasting models, scenario analyses, and customer retention/churn analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Strategy, and Data Engineering teams to align on metric definitions, reporting cadences, and data taxonomy.
  • Insight Translation: Translate intricate, multi-layered financial datasets into clear, actionable recommendations and narratives for non-technical leadership and stakeholders.

Experience & Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 2–3+ years of professional experience in revenue analytics, financial data analysis, business intelligence, or SaaS revenue reporting.
  • SaaS Metric Mastery: Thorough understanding of SaaS subscription models and key financial metrics (ARR, MRR, Net Revenue Retention, Gross Retention, Churn, ARPU, LTV, CAC).
  • Advanced SQL & Big Data: Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze datasets stored in data warehouses such as Google BigQuery.
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, and scenario testing.
  • BI & Visualization: Demonstrated experience constructing, maintaining, and troubleshooting dashboards in Looker, Looker Studio, or comparable BI tools.
  • Data Reconciliation & Systems: Proven ability to validate and reconcile cross-system data involving Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, and modern enterprise data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
  • Technical Familiarity: Hands-on familiarity with Stripe billing configurations and transaction structures, as well as direct working experience with NetSuite ERP module reporting is a strong plus.
  • Communication Skills: Professional-level written and verbal English communication skills, with a track record of clearly conveying data insights to stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies, customer lifecycle management, and enterprise financial planning is nice to have.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
