The posting

Un projet d’envergure. Un rôle où votre présence fera une différence.

LFG Construction souhaite accueillir un(e) coordonnateur(trice) en santé et sécurité (CoSS) pour accompagner l’équipe terrain d’un projet majeur situé à Port Cartier, Sept-Îles.

Pendant ce mandat, vous travaillerez au cœur des opérations afin de conseiller les équipes et de contribuer activement à la prévention des risques. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les travailleurs, les superviseurs et l’équipe de gestion afin que la santé et la sécurité demeurent au centre des décisions et des méthodes de travail.

Nous recherchons une personne proactive et rassembleuse, qui souhaite s’investir dans un projet stimulant et laisser une empreinte positive sur la culture SST du chantier.

Vos responsabilités au quotidien

  • Participer à l’élaboration, à la mise à jour et à l’application du programme de prévention du chantier
  • Coordonner la mise en place et l’application des consignes et des mesures de santé et sécurité sur le chantier
  • Effectuer des inspections régulières, identifier les situations à risque et recommander les mesures correctives appropriées
  • Intervenir lors d’incidents liés à la santé ou à la sécurité et participer à leur suivi
  • Collaborer avec le/la chargé(e) de projet, le contremaître et la gestionnaire SST afin d’assurer la conformité des activités
  • S’assurer que les équipes de chantier connaissent les risques liés à leur travail ainsi que les mesures de prévention à respecter

Le profil que nous recherchons

  • Vous détenez une attestation d’agent de sécurité sur les chantiers de construction délivrée par la CNESST, conformément aux dispositions du Code de sécurité pour les travaux de construction (CSTC)

ou

  • Vous détenez une attestation de formation théorique de coordonnateur en santé et en sécurité (CoSS) d’une durée minimale de 240 heures, délivrée par la CNESST ou par un organisme reconnu par celle-ci
  • Vous possédez une expérience dans le domaine de la construction ou sur des chantiers de construction

  • Leadership rassembleur et facilité à collaborer avec les équipes terrain
  • Capacité d’analyse, de jugement et de résolution de problèmes
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
  • Très bonne connaissance des normes et exigences en matière de santé et sécurité sur les chantiers de construction

  • Emploi à temps plein
  • Horaire en alternance : 4/3 et 5/2
  • Travail sur un chantier situé à Sept-Îles, Port Cartier;
  • Entrée en fonction prévue octobre 2026
