The posting

About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Platform organization is responsible for transforming advanced silicon technologies into deployable, customer-ready systems for AI and cloud infrastructure. The team designs, develops, validates, and delivers boards, switch systems, rack-scale infrastructure, and integrated platform solutions that enable customers to accelerate deployment of next-generation networking and AI architectures.

What You Can Expect

This is an in-person role based in the United States. As a Product Manager on the Platform team, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and business execution for one or more platform programs within the DCNBG. You will work closely with engineering, program management, sales, and executive leadership to define what Marvell builds and why.

Day-to-day, you can expect to:

  • Own the product roadmap for platform-level solutions, including switch-based platforms (e.g., Teralynx-based scale-out and scale-up systems), CPO/CPC integrated platforms, and reference system architectures targeting hyperscale AI data centers.
  • Drive Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) through Marvell's product lifecycle (MPLC) process, from Proposal Approval through Plan of Record (POR) and into production.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, PMO, sales, and marketing to ensure platform programs are on track, on budget, and meeting customer commitments.
  • Engage directly with hyperscale customers to understand their infrastructure roadmaps, capture requirements, and translate them into actionable product strategies.
  • Present to executive leadership at POR Preview and WIP reviews, including CEO-level briefings, representing the business case, competitive landscape, and program status.
  • Define and track product financials, including IRR, lifetime revenue, and cost targets, in partnership with finance and engineering.
  • Collaborate with the TME and Solutions Architecture teams to develop go-to-market collateral, reference architectures, and customer-facing technical content.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape across switching, interconnect, and platform solutions, and provide strategic guidance to engineering and leadership.

This role requires someone who can operate at both the strategic and tactical levels — equally comfortable in a customer meeting, a POR review, or a deep technical architecture discussion.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related technical role in the semiconductor or networking industry.
  • Deep understanding of data center networking architectures, including Ethernet switching, scale-out and scale-up fabrics, and AI/HPC infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience driving products through a full product lifecycle — from market requirements through production release.
  • Strong business acumen with experience building and presenting financial models (IRR, revenue forecasts, competitive pricing).
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills; comfortable presenting to C-level audiences internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority across engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Experience working directly with hyperscale or cloud customers on silicon or systems programs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with co-packaged optics (CPO), co-packaged copper (CPC), or advanced packaging technologies.
  • Prior experience in a Platform or Systems-level product management role at a semiconductor company.
  • Familiarity with open networking software stacks (SONiC, SAI, OpenConfig) and their role in AI data center deployments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
