Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Administrator (Intermediate-Level)to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA.
- • U.S. Citizen • Active DoD Secret Clearance required • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher required • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Unified Communications (UC) Administrator (Intermediate-Level) will support the South East Region Cyberspace Support Center (RCSC). In this role, you will support critical voice, video, and data communications systems that enable mission success across Army networks. Working alongside network engineers, systems administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and operational stakeholders, you will help maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise Unified Communications and network infrastructure supporting day-to-day mission operations.
Your expertise will directly contribute to secure, reliable, and resilient communications capabilities that enhance operational readiness, improve collaboration across geographically dispersed organizations, and ensure Army personnel remain connected to the information and resources needed to execute their missions effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and daily direction to Network Support personnel.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance technical knowledge, operational effectiveness, and service delivery capabilities.
- Manage, coordinate, and track activities across network operations and support teams.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and availability issues, ensuring timely identification and resolution of operational problems.
- Provide operations and maintenance support for Cisco Call Manager and Unified Communications systems.
- Install, configure, administer, support, and maintain Call Managers, Gatekeepers, Gateways, VoIP systems, analog telephony equipment, and related communications infrastructure.
- Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, software, operating systems, and associated peripherals.
- Utilize Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies to manage, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Collect, analyze, and review network utilization and performance data to support capacity planning and optimization efforts.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records.
- Support training initiatives and knowledge transfer activities to improve user and staff understanding of network and communications resources.
- Collaborate with network, systems, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient service delivery.

Compensation Range:
- $80,000 - $90,000 annually
- Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Several factors influence final compensation, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and education.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
- Four (4+) years of experience supporting enterprise IT, help desk, service desk, networking, or communications environments.
- Experience supporting Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking technologies.
- Experience administering and supporting VoIP and Unified Communications systems.
- Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
- Experience supporting enterprise voice, video, and data communications environments.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, routing, switching, and communications technologies.
- Ability to analyze network performance data and support capacity planning efforts
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Microsoft certification supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, or Endpoint Management technologies.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-profile customers.
- Experience providing support to VIP end users and leadership personnel.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated professional with a strong commitment to customer service and mission success.
