Service Advisor – Mazda of Troy

Business is booming, and we’re growing our team! Mazda of Troy is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our fast-paced, high-volume service department. If you thrive on building relationships, delivering exceptional experiences, and maximizing every opportunity, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the key connection between our customers and our service team—ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive experience from start to finish.

  • Greet every customer with professionalism and energy
  • Listen, identify, and clearly communicate vehicle concerns
  • Perform walk-arounds and recommend maintenance based on customer needs
  • Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and upfront pricing
  • Write detailed and accurate repair orders in ADP
  • Present and explain multi-point inspection results
  • Gain approvals for recommended and additional services
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
  • Deliver completed vehicles and review work performed
  • Handle payments and ensure a seamless checkout experience
  • Build long-term customer relationships and trust

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort with computers, typing, and service systems
  • Basic math skills for estimates and transactions
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Automotive service experience is a plus, but not required for the right person
