Company Description

Become a builder of better at Locinox

At Locinox, we work with builders of better. People who push through until something is not just good, but truly great. People who find simple solutions to complex challenges. Every product we create may look straightforward at first glance, but inside it contains pure ingenuity.

Our builders of better dive into every detail until everything is just right. That’s how we make gates smart. Our work shines in the most remarkable places worldwide: from the tennis courts of Roland Garros to American universities and even the zoo in Sydney.

Ready to become a builder of better too, as our new Architect specification Lead?

Job Description

  • Transform the Architecture Specification Program into a strategic growth platform that expands market influence and drives the specification of Locinox’s innovative solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote CSI-compliant master and project specifications for Locinox perimeter access solutions.

  • Build relationships with architecture and engineering firms, specification writers, landscape architects, security consultants, government agencies, and educational facility planners.
  • Lead project engagement from early design through bidding and construction, including RFIs, submittal support, substitution reviews, and technical coordination.
  • Deliver architect education, Lunch & Learn programs, technical presentations, and specification training.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, marketing, product management, and engineering to convert specifications into successful project outcomes.
  • Lead QA/QC reviews to align specifications, drawings, schedules, details, and product documentation.

Qualifications

  • Expert command of CSI MasterFormat, SectionFormat, and PageFormat, with advanced use of Deltek Specpoint/MasterSpec and/or BSL Speclink.
  • Deep knowledge of architectural specifications, construction documents, product data, testing reports, warranties, and substitution evaluation.
  • Strong working knowledge of IBC, ADA accessibility requirements, NFPA, ASTM, UL, ANSI/BHMA, life safety requirements, and applicable local codes.
  • Ability to evaluate exterior materials for durability, corrosion resistance, compatibility, exposure, and long-term performance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 CE, or similar CRM program and project-tracking tools.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to advise design professionals and coordinate across technical and commercial teams.
  • Independent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a collaborative service mindset.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture, specification writing, building products, construction consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success developing CSI-format specifications and supporting architects, consultants, and project teams.
  • Registered Architect (RA), CSI Certified Construction Specifier (CCS), Construction Documents Technologist (CDT), and/or LEED AP credentials are strongly preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
