About The Role

Logan Premium is a third party logistics provider that is elevating the reputation of freight brokers in the logistics industry by prioritizing integrity, service, and flawless execution. We focus on long-term relationships, impeccable attention to detail, and meticulous tracking to deliver reliable, on-time solutions while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and trust in every interaction.

As the Director of Carrier Sales, you’ll be responsible for leading the carrier sales department and developing new strategies to drive margin percentage and increase rep development.

This is an onsite role in Chicago, Illinois.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improved performance and improved margins.
  • Work with operations, sales and leadership to identify, qualify and implement new opportunities.
  • Work with sales to optimize new opportunities.
  • Implement strategies for rep development to improve margin and load count companywide.
  • Identify dedicated opportunities to drive margin growth and improve service.
  • Research and implement new tech to drive efficiency.
  • Oversee department resource planning and execution.
  • Work with recruiting and marketing to bring on new talent and identify hiring needs.

Qualifications

  • A preferred 10+ years experience in carrier sales and carrier sales leadership preferred.
  • Proven track record in scaling teams and working in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Ability to develop solutions based on data and market trends.
  • Experience with McLeod is a huge plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make strong decisions based on information at hand.

This role offers a combination of both salary and quarterly, performance based bonuses.
