The posting

Title: IT Administrator Support, IT Service Desk

Location: Romania (Bucharest, hybrid)

The role and the team

As an IT Administrator Support (all genders), you will keep Lucanet employees productive by solving their everyday IT needs across Windows and macOS, from troubleshooting a laptop issue to setting up a new joiner's workstation on day one. This is a role within our IT Service Desk department, supporting internal colleagues rather than external product customers.

You will join a Service Desk team of around six people, working the ticket queue together and reporting into the IT Service Desk team. Most requests reach you already qualified through Lisa, our internal AI support chat, so you spend your time solving problems rather than chasing details, with real room to grow toward a senior support role. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

What you'll do

  • Resolve day-to-day Windows and macOS support tickets for Lucanet employees end to end.
  • Manage access requests and account administration for internal users.
  • Run IT onboarding and offboarding for joiners and leavers, including full device handover.
  • Own company devices across their lifecycle, from setup to retirement.
  • Work the Service Desk ticket queue, prioritizing by urgency and complexity.
  • Cover the urgent support phone line during new joiners' first days.
  • Support colleagues in the Bucharest office and remotely over Teams.
  • Diagnose issues methodically and escalate complex cases with complete handovers.

What you bring

You have:

  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows and macOS for internal teams, solving the majority of tickets independently.
  • Experience running the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process, including device handover, for joiners and leavers.
  • A proven ability to manage access requests and device lifecycles for a growing internal user base.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable supporting colleagues face to face and over Teams.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira Service Management.
