Job Overview

The Tyre Counter Sales Consultant is responsible for customer engagement, customer service and sales generation by providing expert advice and information relating to products, services and offers to walk-in customers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12
  • Sales certification (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour
  • Proven experience in a sales related role (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Tyre sales (Mandatory)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Natural ability for customer focus
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively
  • Knowledge of the Tyre Industry is required
  • Professional verbal communication skills
  • Strong attentiveness and listening skills
  • Best practice telephone etiquette
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation capability
  • Ability to multitask and operate under pressure to meet lead times
  • Highly focused and target driven
  • Excellent problem-solving
  • Polite and friendly tone of voice
  • Fluent English, bilingual a plus another South African Language
  • Basic user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
