The posting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. This role provides essential support to attorneys and legal staff, with opportunities to utilize both administrative and legal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
  • Answering phones, greeting clients, and directing inquiries.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Preparing and organizing legal documents and files.
  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Assisting with case preparation.
  • Communicating with clients and witnesses.
  • Managing office workflow and tasks.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Previous front desk or reception experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Previous paralegal experience a plus.

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay:

  • $20.00/hr (for previous front desk or reception experience)
  • $24.00/hr (for previous paralegal experience)
