Are you a highly motivated individual with experience in a call center setting, specifically within the health insurance or medical billing industry? We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team, focusing on outbound calls to help clients navigate medical claims and billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make an average of 50 outbound calls per day to clients and patients to follow up on medical claims, verify information, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, handling calls and emails with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a strong, working knowledge of health insurance plans, medical billing codes (ICD-10, CPT), and claims processes to provide expert assistance.
  • Act as a patient advocate, identifying and resolving billing issues with a focus on quick, effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal billing specialists and external insurance providers to resolve complex claim issues and ensure timely processing.
  • Assist other departments as needed, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Help improve our processes by providing valuable feedback on system needs and potential changes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a call center with a focus on health insurance, medical billing, or medical claims is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficient with data entry and computers, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.

Compensation & Training

  • Pay for this position is $22 per hour.
  • The first week of training will be in-person in Springfield, MA.
  • After the initial training, the position will be hybrid or fully remote, depending on business needs.
  • Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance and an incentive recognition bonus (eligibility applies).
