The posting

Location: Isle of Man

Contract: Type: Permanent

Experience: 2-4 years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar business change, transformation, process improvement or project delivery role.

About Us

At Marbral Advisory, we believe great Business Analysts do more than gather requirements and produce documentation.

They help organisations understand problems, make better decisions and deliver meaningful change.

Our Business Analysts bring clarity to complexity. They connect people, challenge thinking, uncover opportunities and help turn ideas into outcomes.

You'll work with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams to solve real business challenges. Whether that's improving services, streamlining operations, supporting digital transformation or enabling organisational change, your role is to help people move forward with confidence.

No two engagements are the same. That's what makes the role rewarding.

What you'll do

You'll help clients:

  • Understand problems, opportunities and business priorities.
  • Make informed decisions based on insight, evidence and analysis.
  • Improve processes, services and ways of working.
  • Define clear requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Align stakeholders around a common understanding and direction.
  • Deliver change that is practical, achievable and valuable.
  • Adopt new solutions successfully and realise the intended benefits.
  • You'll facilitate understanding, challenge assumptions, explore options and help teams navigate complexity with confidence.

What makes a great Marbral Business Analyst?

A great Marbral Business Analyst is curious, pragmatic and people focused.

You don't jump straight to solutions. You ask the right questions. You listen carefully, challenge constructively and help others see the bigger picture.

You are comfortable working in ambiguity and can bring structure and clarity when it matters most.

Most importantly, you care about outcomes. You focus on solving the right problem, not simply producing the right document.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy solving complex problems.
  • Ask thoughtful questions.
  • Build trust quickly with stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Balance attention to detail with strategic thinking.
  • Adapt your approach to different clients and environments.
  • Focus on value rather than process for process' sake.
  • Take ownership and follow through on commitments.

Skills & Expereince

Essential:

  • 2-4 years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a business change, transformation, digital delivery or process improvement role, with a strong foundation in analysis, stakeholder engagement and problem solving.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and managing business requirements.
  • Ability to analyse processes, services and organisational challenges.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Experience working collaboratively across business, operational and delivery teams.
  • A pragmatic approach that balances analysis with action.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to digital transformation, technology-enabled change or digital service delivery projects.
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working, including user stories, backlogs and iterative delivery.
  • Experience working alongside product, technology, architecture, testing or delivery teams.
  • Exposure to customer journeys, service design, user-centred design or process improvement techniques.
  • Experience supporting change adoption, business readiness, testing or implementation activities.
  • Experience within consultancy, financial services, government, public sector or regulated environments.

However, the following would be advantageous:

  • BCS Business Analysis qualification.
  • IIBA certification.
  • Agile, Project Management or Change Management certification.
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement qualification.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
