JOB SUMMARY
Marriott is seeking an experienced FLEX Engineer, Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to design, develop, automate, and support solutions across the Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management platform. The role will focus on building scalable EPM applications and integrations, developing advanced Groovy-based business rules and automation, creating enterprise financial and management reporting solutions, and implementing robust Data Integration processes. The ideal candidate combines strong Oracle EPM functional understanding with hands-on development experience and can translate complex finance and planning requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM implementation and integration
- 3+ years of experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP & other external applications and enterprise platforms.
- 2+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion EPM implementation projects with significant integration development responsibilities.
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale integration architectures.
- Demonstrated experience working in complex, global, multi-system environments.
- Technical expertise in: Oracle Visual Builder. Oracle JET Composite Components and reusable UI-component architecture. Oracle Fusion security and role-based access. Fusion application extensibility and Application Composer. Developing responsive, accessible, customer-facing web applications.
- Strong understanding of Oracle EPM Financial processes including: Planning Financial Consolidation and Close Account Reconciliation Enterprise Data Management Narrative Reporting PCMCS
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Oracle EPM Application Development
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance Oracle Cloud EPM solutions supporting planning, forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation, and management reporting.
- Maintain dimensions, metadata, forms, dashboards, business rules, substitution variables, security configurations, and application artifacts.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment and continuous improvement activities.
Groovy Scripting & Advanced Automation
- Develop advanced Groovy scripts and Groovy business rules to automate and extend Oracle EPM application functionality.
- Use Oracle EPM Groovy APIs to interact with application objects, cubes, grids, metadata, and data.
- Develop reusable Groovy frameworks for validations, calculations, data processing, workflow automation, and administrative activities.
- Integrate Groovy-based solutions with Oracle EPM REST APIs and other platform automation capabilities.
- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, performance optimization, and maintainable coding standards.
- Design and develop financial, operational, and management reports supporting Finance and executive reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain reports, report packages, books, dashboards, and related reporting artifacts within the Oracle EPM ecosystem.
Data Integration
- Design, develop, and support Oracle EPM Data Integration solutions connecting EPM applications with ERP, financial, operational, and external data sources.
- Configure and maintain integration components including source/target mappings, import formats, locations, periods, categories, mapping rules, and validation processes.
- Develop automated processes for data and metadata movement between applications.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, rejected records, mappings, data quality issues, and performance problems.
- Work with the EPM Integration Agent where required for external data-source integration and scripted processing.
