ΘΕΣΗ ΕΡΓΑΣΙΑΣ - ΛΑΡΝΑΚΑ

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Το άτομο που θα στελεχώσει τη θέση θα πρέπει να μπορεί να αναλάβει τα ακόλουθα καθήκοντα:

Οικονομικός Σχεδιασμός και Ανάλυση (Financial Planning and Analysis):

  • Ανάπτυξη και εφαρμογή οικονομικών στρατηγικών και σχεδίων για την υποστήριξη των στόχων και των σκοπών του οργανισμού.
  • Διενέργεια οικονομικής ανάλυσης, πρόβλεψης (forecasting) και μοντελοποίησης για την αξιολόγηση της χρηματοοικονομικής υγείας και απόδοσης της εταιρείας.
  • Παρακολούθηση χρηματοοικονομικών δεικτών και βασικών δεικτών απόδοσης (KPIs) για τον εντοπισμό τάσεων και τη διατύπωση συστάσεων για βελτίωση.

Διαχείριση Προϋπολογισμού (Budget Management):

  • Προετοιμασία και διαχείριση του ετήσιου προϋπολογισμού, συνεργαζόμενος στενά με τους επικεφαλής των τμημάτων για τη διασφάλιση ακριβών οικονομικών προβλέψεων.
  • Παρακολούθηση των διαφορών του προϋπολογισμού (budget variances) και παροχή πληροφοριών στη διοίκηση σχετικά με τον τρόπο αντιμετώπισής τους.

Λογιστική και Χρηματοοικονομική Αναφορά (Accounting and Financial Reporting):

  • Επίβλεψη του λογιστηρίου, διασφαλίζοντας την ακριβή και έγκαιρη καταγραφή των χρηματοοικονομικών συναλλαγών.
  • Προετοιμασία και παρουσίαση χρηματοοικονομικών καταστάσεων, εκθέσεων και αναλύσεων στην ανώτερη διοίκηση και στους ενδιαφερόμενους φορείς (stakeholders).
  • Διασφάλιση της συμμόρφωσης με τις Γενικά Αποδεκτές Λογιστικές Αρχές (GAAP) και άλλες σχετικές χρηματοοικονομικές κανονιστικές διατάξεις.

Διαχείριση Ταμειακών Ροών (Cash Flow Management):

  • Διαχείριση των ταμειακών ροών του οργανισμού, διασφαλίζοντας ότι είναι επαρκείς για την κάλυψη των χρηματοοικονομικών υποχρεώσεων και των μελλοντικών επενδύσεων.
  • Ανάπτυξη και εφαρμογή στρατηγικών για τη βελτιστοποίηση των ταμειακών ροών και της ρευστότητας.

Διαχείριση Κινδύνων (Risk Management):

  • Εντοπισμός χρηματοοικονομικών κινδύνων και ανάπτυξη στρατηγικών για τον μετριασμό τους.
  • Εφαρμογή εσωτερικών ελέγχων και βέλτιστων πρακτικών για τη διασφάλιση των περιουσιακών στοιχείων του οργανισμού.

Φορολογία και Συμμόρφωση (Tax and Compliance):

  • Διασφάλιση της συμμόρφωσης με τους φορολογικούς νόμους και κανονισμούς, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της υποβολής ακριβών φορολογικών δηλώσεων.
  • Ενημέρωση σχετικά με τις αλλαγές στους φορολογικούς νόμους και ανάλογη προσαρμογή των χρηματοοικονομικών στρατηγικών.

Ανάπτυξη Χρηματοοικονομικής Στρατηγικής (Financial Strategy Development):

  • Συνεργασία με την εκτελεστική ομάδα για την ανάπτυξη και εκτέλεση χρηματοοικονομικών στρατηγικών που ευθυγραμμίζονται με τους επιχειρηματικούς στόχους της εταιρείας.
  • Παροχή χρηματοοικονομικών πληροφοριών και συστάσεων για την υποστήριξη της λήψης αποφάσεων.

Ηγεσία Ομάδας (Team Leadership):

  • Ηγεσία, καθοδήγηση (mentoring) και διαχείριση της ομάδας οικονομικών και λογιστικής.
  • Καλλιέργεια κουλτούρας επαγγελματισμού, συνεχούς βελτίωσης και λογοδοσίας εντός του τμήματος.

Προσόντα (Qualifications):

  • Πτυχίο στη Χρηματοοικονομική, Λογιστική, Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων ή σε σχετικό τομέα. Ένα Μεταπτυχιακό ή επαγγελματική πιστοποίηση (π.χ. CPA, CFA) συχνά προτιμάται.
  • Αρκετά χρόνια εμπειρίας στη χρηματοοικονομική, λογιστική και χρηματοοικονομική διαχείριση, με αποδεδειγμένο ιστορικό επιτυχίας σε διευθυντικό ρόλο.
  • Ισχυρή γνώση των χρηματοοικονομικών αρχών, κανονισμών και βέλτιστων πρακτικών.
  • Εξαιρετικές αναλυτικές ικανότητες, ικανότητες επίλυσης προβλημάτων και λήψης αποφάσεων.
  • Επάρκεια σε χρηματοοικονομικό λογισμικό και εργαλεία, συμπεριλαμβανομένου λογισμικού λογιστικής και υπολογιστικών φύλλων (spreadsheets).
  • Ισχυρές επικοινωνιακές και διαπροσωπικές δεξιότητες.

  3. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to assess the financial health and performance of the company.
  4. Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Budget Management:
  6. Prepare and manage the annual budget, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate financial projections.
  7. Monitor budget variances and provide insights to the management team on how to address them.
  8. Accounting and Financial Reporting:
  9. Oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  10. Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  11. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations.
  12. Cash Flow Management:
  13. Manage the organization's cash flow, ensuring that it is sufficient to meet financial obligations and future investments.
  14. Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
  15. Risk Management:
  16. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  17. Implement internal controls and best practices to safeguard the organization's assets.
  18. Tax and Compliance:
  19. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing accurate tax returns.
  20. Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and adjust financial strategies accordingly.
  21. Financial Strategy Development:
  22. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  23. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  24. Team Leadership:
  25. Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting team.
  26. Foster a culture of professionalism, continuous improvement, and accountability within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is often preferred.
  • Several years of experience in finance, accounting, and financial management, with a proven track record of success in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
