We are looking for a results-driven Inside Sales Representative to accelerate our clean energy growth. You will act as the primary virtual point of contact for residential or commercial clients looking to transition to sustainable energy. This position is fully focused on remote consultation, pipeline management, and closing deals from our digital desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Qualification: Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and follow up on high-quality, pre-qualified leads to assess property suitability.
  • Energy Consultation: Analyze prospects' current electricity bills and energy consumption patterns to calculate potential return on investment (ROI).
  • Virtual Presentations: Design and present custom renewable energy proposals (e.g., solar, battery storage) using industry design software and video conferencing.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions, quotes, and pipeline stages within our CRM platform.
  • Deal Closure: Educate clients on available federal tax credits, local rebates, and financing options to confidently close sales and transition accounts to the project management team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years of inside sales, account management, or remote closing experience (renewable energy or SaaS background preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency with CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to explain technical financial concepts simply.
  • Drive: A self-motivated, resilient closer who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven remote team environment.
  • Passion: A strong interest in environmental sustainability, high personal integrity, accountability, and eagerness to learn.

Compensation and Work Environment

  • Full-time, W2 position
  • Competitive base salary plus commission
  • The position will be based in Utah and is required to go into our office in Salt Lake City.
  • Uncapped PTO
  • High-growth potential for the right candidate

Location & Work Authorization

This is a U.S.-based remote position. Candidates must physically reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application and throughout employment. Maxwell Power does not provide visa sponsorship or employment-based immigration support for this role.
