  • Carrying out patch plastering and making good damaged walls and ceilings
  • Completing wall and floor tiling/vinyl repairs, including grouting and sealing
  • Painting and decorating following repairs to ensure properties are finished to a good standard
  • Completing a range of multi-trade repairs to bring void properties up to the required lettable standard
  • Identifying and reporting additional works required to ensure properties are safe, compliant and ready for occupation
  • Working efficiently to support void turnaround times and minimise the time properties remain empty
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Accurately recording completed works, materials used and any outstanding repairs using handheld devices or job sheets
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and company vehicle in good working order
  • Managing daily workload effectively to meet completion targets and service-level requirements

Role Criteria:

  • Proven experience working within void properties, repairs and maintenance, or social housing
  • Strong multi-trade skills, with experience across carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating
  • Ability to complete a range of repairs to a high standard and ensure properties are ready for re-let
  • Good knowledge of health and safety when working in domestic properties
  • Ability to identify additional repairs and report further works where required
  • Able to work independently, manage workloads effectively and meet void turnaround targets
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using handheld devices or job management systems to record completed works
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
