We are looking for a Senior Applications Specialist to join the Business Applications team.

The role focuses primarily on the ongoing management and continuous improvement of existing systems and the implementation of new business applications under the role’s responsibility.

The Senior Business Applications Specialist will manage application-related projects from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities, while working closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors.

The role will also be responsible for the ongoing management of assigned business applications, including enhancements, change requests, configuration, vendor coordination, releases, user adoption, and support.

Application support will be provided for the systems under the role’s responsibility, with the goal of ensuring effective system usage, resolving operational issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

As the role develops, the Senior Applications Specialist will gradually take broader ownership of applications and projects, independently leading initiatives and serving as the main Business Applications point of contact for assigned systems and business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage assigned business applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they continue to meet business and operational needs.
  • Coordinate and manage the full project lifecycle, including business requirements, scope definition, planning, stakeholder alignment, testing, implementation, go-live, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Manage system enhancements, configuration changes, change requests, releases, and ongoing application improvements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes, identify needs, define requirements, and translate them into application solutions.
  • Provide application support and user guidance, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolution with relevant internal teams or external vendors.
  • Manage and coordinate external application vendors, including requirements, open items, deliverables, timelines, issue resolution, and implementation activities.
  • Support testing activities, including system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect follow-up, and validation of new functionality.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation, processes, user guides, project materials, and training materials.
  • Support system adoption and implementation activities, including user communication, training, change management, and go-live support.
  • Monitor project and application-related tasks, dependencies, risks, timelines, and action items, and provide clear status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-organizational technology initiatives and Business Applications projects.
  • Support departmental and OCIO-related activities when required, including information gathering, coordination, reporting, and preparation of management materials.

Requirements

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in business applications, system implementation, project coordination, application management, or information systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications such as Salesforce, Veeva, LMS platforms, AI solutions, or similar systems.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew.

Required qualification

  • 5-7 years of experience in business applications, information systems, application implementation, project coordination, or similar roles.
  • Strong interest in managing business applications and technology-related projects in a business-facing environment.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into system and application needs.
  • Strong technological orientation and the ability to learn new systems independently.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple interfaces, including business users, managers, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • High service orientation and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • High sense of responsibility, curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and motivation to grow professionally.
  • Ability to drive tasks forward, follow up on open items, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure execution according to agreed timelines

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
