KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFOR SOURCING EXECUTIVE

· Identify and evaluate new suppliers for components, raw materials, andservices

· Conduct supplier assessments together with QA teams

· Ensure suppliers meet standards like ISO 13485

· Request and compare quotations (RFQs)

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts

· Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality

· Ensure timely sourcing of materials to support production schedules

· Monitoring lead times and delivery performance

· Identify supply risks (single-source suppliers, long lead times,geopolitical issues)

· Handle disruptions proactively

· Track supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost)

· Work closely with cross functional departments: Engineering(specifications), Quality Assurance (supplier audit), production and planning (materialneeds)

· New product introduction (NPI support) in source new materials andensure suppliers are ready before mass production

· Track cost savings and sourcing performance
