The posting

Reporting to: CFO

Our Porfolio company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to strengthen financial governance, financial reporting, consolidation, audit management, and IFRS compliance across the organization.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys building strong financial controls, leading large accounting teams, and driving best-in-class financial reporting standards within a complex business environment.

I. Key Responsibilities:

a. Financial Reporting & Control

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Vietnamese Accounting Standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Oversee balance sheet integrity and ensure timely financial closing processes.

b. Consolidation & Group Reporting

  • Manage group consolidation across multiple legal entities and business units.
  • Coordinate financial reporting requirements across subsidiaries and stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

c. Audit & Compliance

  • Lead annual statutory audits and support external auditors throughout the audit cycle.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Support regulatory reporting and corporate governance requirements.

d. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a sizeable accounting and finance operations team.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive capability development and succession planning within the finance function.

e. Systems & Process Improvement

  • Partner with leadership to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.
  • Support ERP optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to finance projects, business expansion activities, and strategic initiatives.

II. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Chief Accountant Certificate and/or CPA qualification.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience managing group consolidation, ideally across multiple entities or countries.
  • Hands-on experience leading external audits within large and complex organizations.
  • Experience in organizations with annual revenues of approximately USD 50 million or above.
  • Strong leadership experience managing medium-to-large accounting teams.
  • Professional proficiency in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Prefer experience supporting IPO readiness or participating in IPO projects.
  • Exposure to ERP implementation or optimization projects.
  • Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Candidates from banking, financial services, or other complex and fast-growing organizations are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong passion for building a long-term career within Financial Control and Accounting leadership.
