The posting

Who we are

Memtime is one of the most successful early-stage startups in B2B SaaS, with thousands of customers in over 86 countries. We just got our Series A funding and are now scaling the company. Our mission is to become the new standard for tracking time - integrated with every project software worldwide.

How we work

We are an international team with a hybrid remote work culture and a headquarters office in Munich. At Memtime, we deal with time, which means we respect yours: Instead of endless meetings and compulsory attendance, we believe in well-designed collaboration that gives us a sense of self-efficacy and allows us to see the impact of our daily work through results.

Our Product

With our software for automatic activity tracking, we are the technology leader in our segment:

  • Our software automatically records what your are working on (e.g. emails, documents, websites etc.) - so you can easily remember on which customers/projects you spent your time
  • What makes our software especially employee-friendly: it stores all data exclusively on the user's device. No monitoring or surveillance features. Full privacy for the user.
  • We seamlessly integrate with any kind of project software, erp system or billing solution

About the Team

  • Our Quality Assurance Team is growing, and we are looking for a capable, detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure our product and integrations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • As part of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be directly involved in testing our core product —the Memtime App— as well as our cloud services, integrations, website, and internal tools.
  • We are also expanding our product portfolio to smaller companies and freelancers with a new cloud-based product, where high-quality testing and automation will play a vital role.

What we are looking for in you

  • Experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing and automation for SaaS products.
  • Several years of professional experience in QA roles.
  • Proficient in testing methodologies, including manual testing, automated testing, and integration testing.
  • Strong focus on customer needs and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Skilled at identifying and documenting bugs, edge cases, and improvement opportunities.

Technical Skills

  • Familiar with testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (SQLite).
  • Familiar with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Proficient in test case design, bug reporting.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Electron-based applications.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Playwright, TestCafe).
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).

You Will Be

  • Testing the functionality of our core product and integrations.
  • Writing, maintaining, and improving test automation scripts.
  • Ensuring that all new features and bug fixes are properly tested before deployment.
  • Identifying and reporting bugs and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
  • Verifying the integration of external systems with our product.
  • Helping to define the architecture and workflow for automated testing.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
